World AIDS Day 2009: AIDS is a mass murderer.

All thru this campaign may look repulsive, the message of these ad prints is clear. Some say that the hidden message of this campaign is “Sex is a mass murderer” just because we see bare bodies in act.
I do not agree with those guys, I do think that the comparison is evident: AIDS can kill as much as those dictators did once.
I do think that the art direction is good, maybe excepting the obvious faces of dictators. It may be intentionally made so those faces should sustain the main message. Illustrations are exposing two bodies making love.
Ad prints have a special message to the whole world: you have to protect yourself. Protect your health, your life and your right to live free.
Some people already think that the campaign should be banned, but there is nothing to ban on this campaign.
Campaign is created by das comitee, a german firm and I do think that this kind of message cannot be easily understood by non European audience.
